Mossy Earth

Mossy Earth is the ecological engine that powers our tree planting. Mossy Earth specializes in the most sustainable practices for reforesting and rewilding.

Native tree species are planted as saplings and accompanied by local flora to help ensure the forests flourish.

When a patch of trees is planted, photos are taken and its GPS coordinates are collected for continued monitoring. If a tree does not survive, Mossy Earth replants another.

The GPS coordinates also populate on the GritGrow Forest Map, thus creating a connection between the virtual and ecological. Planting trees is at the core of GritGrow, and it can only occur when a user successfully completes their project.
